OUR MISSION.
The mission of Armed Forces E9 Association is to foster patriotism; promote the health prosperity and welfare of our members and their families; continue our involvement in national defense policies; continue our efforts to stop the erosion of our earned benefits; ensure accountability of our POW/MIA’s; ensure protection of the American flag; continue to preserve and defend the United States against all her enemies; and to maintain allegiance to God and Country.
OUR LOCATION.
The E-9 Association is a made up of a group of retired Sergeants Majors across the Armed Forces. The KSAFE9A is located at historic Fort Riley, home of the Fighting First, Big Red One and is always looking for new members who are either active or retired from one of the branches of Armed Services.
OUR HISTORY.
Home of the first territorial capital and the legendary "Big Red One," the KSAFE9A continues in that great tradition of supporting Soldiers, Families and Veterans by social events, fundraisers, charitable donations, scholarships and support for aging and/or disabled veterans. Every year the Sunflower Chapter gives back to the community through its charitable donations. This year's recipients included Operation Santa Claus, a non-profit organization, which helps active-duty, National Guard and Reserve Soldiers of the state of Kansas with toys during the holidays.
OUR COMMUNITY.
In addition, the KSAFE9A endeavors to support Soldiers who have been wounded in battle by giving to the Warrior Transition Battalion. These are just two of the donations made by the Chapter. We will give to several other organizations during the upcoming holiday season.
OUR INVITATION
You've served your country with honor and distinction. You have decades of leadership under your belt. You can still contribute to help make this great country even better by mentoring the leaders of tomorrow and taking care of aging battle buddies. We welcome male or female active, retired, inactive, Reserve or National Guard E-9s from any branch of service to join us in making the Kansas a great place to live, work and come home to.
